The A 1 German Course intensive is suitable for complete beginners with little or no previous knowledge of German.

In this intensive course, you will develop basic skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing at the A1 level. You will learn how to communicate in simple everyday situations, introduce yourself, ask and answer basic questions, and understand common expressions.

In grammar and phonetics, you will build a strong foundation for correct pronunciation and the basic use of the German language.

In the area of listening comprehension, learners are introduced to the sounds of German through simple everyday situations. This includes understanding basic instructions, short dialogues, and familiar words and phrases. Through a variety of exercises, learners gradually improve their ability to understand spoken German.

Speaking is an important part of the A1 German course. Participants practise simple dialogues and everyday conversations, such as introducing themselves, talking about their family, shopping, or asking for directions. Special attention is given to pronunciation and building confidence when speaking.

The reading comprehension section focuses on understanding short and simple texts, such as notices, messages, forms, and basic information texts. Learners practise finding important information and understanding the main meaning of a text.

In writing, participants learn to produce simple texts. This may include filling out forms, writing short messages, simple emails, or brief personal descriptions. Basic grammar structures are introduced step by step and applied in practical exercises.

Vocabulary is systematically developed to help learners communicate in common everyday situations and talk about familiar topics.

Overall, the A1 German Intensive Course provides a solid foundation for beginners who want to start learning German. Through varied exercises and practical activities, participants learn to use the language actively and confidently in simple everyday situations.

This A1 German course ends with the ASL internal language exam.

If places are available, lateral entry is also possible after a free placement test.
