The TestDaF preparation course prepares you thoroughly and competently for the TestDaF exam. You will practise all 4 parts of the exam – reading, listening, writing and speaking – with an experienced, highly qualified, native-speaking teacher.
The TestDaF is the most important German language exam for international applicants and a milestone on your way to a German university: the certificate officially proves that you are linguistically ready to start your studies. Academics can also use the TestDaF to prepare for research stays at German universities.
The TestDaF certificate is valid indefinitely and is recognized by all universities in Germany.
The paper-based TestDaF consists of four parts. The pure examination time is 3h 15min. There is a break after each section, with a longer break between the Listening Comprehension and Written Expression sections. You will receive more detailed information from us. TestDaF topics and tasks are always related to the university context.
The paper-based TestDaF always has the same structure:
First, you complete the reading comprehension tasks. In the Listening Comprehension section of the test, you listen to spoken texts from an audio recording.Then you write a handwritten text in the Written Expression section. The oral expression section is carried out on the computer: You listen to the tasks via headphones from an audio carrier and your answers are recorded.There is therefore no interview with an examiner.You will receive printed task booklets for all parts of the exam.
