The DSH preparation course prepares students for the “German Language Examination for University Entrance (DSH)” and, in addition to TestDaF and telc C 1 Hochschule, is another opportunity for foreign applicants to prove the German language skills required for their studies. The DSH exam is conducted two to three times a year by the respective university itself. At the LMU Munich, it will take place for NC subjects (subjects for which a certain grade point average is required) on 09.07.2022. The registration deadline is from 07.06. – 24.06.2022. Thus, one week after participating in our DSH preparation course, you could take the DSH exam at the LMU Munich. Dates for other DSH exams at universities throughout Germany can be found here.
The entry requirement for attending most of the colleges and universities in Germany is DSH 2 (Level C1.1 to C1.2). In some disciplines DSH 3 (Level C1.2) is required and some colleges only require DSH 1 (Level B 2).
The DSH consists of 5 parts: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, text production, scientific language structures, oral amination. Our lecturers will prepare you thoroughly for the DSH in the preparatory course.
